Songs That Mean Something Right Now

Through thick and thin music gets us through anything, Miss Rona. Music is something that keeps everyone together and connected. For me, music has been one thing that has kept me sane and not feeling alone in this tough time. So, I thought sharing a few songs is overdue.

Safe by Nico Santos

  • This is one of my favorite songs. Whenever I listen to it I feel like I’m not alone, and I feel like we’ll be able to get through anything.

Lonely by Noah Cyrus

Out Here by Boundary Run

Nightengale by Demi Lovato

Little Lion Man by Mumford and Sons

You Should Be Sad by Halsey

Bigger by Beyonce

  • This song was actually shown to me by one of my friends. This is a song that is saying that we are greater and that this will not last

Riptide by Vance Joy

Butterfly Fly Away by Miley Cyrus

All I Want by Kodaline

Angel by the Wings by Sia

Count on Me by Bruno Mars

Jesus in LA by Alec Benjamin

  • For a somber tune, Alec Benjamin is talking about how often times people are traveling and searching for jesus, or god. Even though its not explicitly said in the song, I think what they mean is that god is going to be found at home, or he can be found on a drive. Right now, God is trying to show us himself through us.

Take Me Home by Chord Overstreet

Somethings Gotta Give by Camela Cebello

See You Again by Wiz Khalifa ft Charlie Puth

  • On our last day at school, none of us really got to say a proper goodbye. It was rushed and the next day many of us walked through the halls one last time. But it’s not the end and we will see each other again before any of us know.

Symphony By Clean Bandit ft Zara Larsson

Billie Jean by Eden

Where I stand by Mia Wray

  • Each one of us are special, unique, and needed. This song is about not giving up on yourself, and wherever you end up is where you are meant to be. She talks about seeing people live lives that are fast paced, and in the end, not real.

Lost in the Moment by NF

Tortured Soul by Chord OverStreet

Poetry By Wrabel

Leave a Light On (acoustic) by Tom Walker

Ring by Canyon City

  • Finally, my favorite song ever. I heard this song while I was in the middle of moving,it’s a song about what it’s like to be lost. While I heard it, I heard what it was like to be without a home, while being in limbo. But each time I listened, I heard what I needed to, and now, the song means that we can get through this virus.
